the term “artsy” irritates me. it just feels like it’s another way to dismiss the kind of shit we do; another way of dismissing it all as just “pretty pictures,” as something that’s not worthwhile, not worthy, not needed, not legitimate, not “real” work. just “pretty pictures.”
